Step Right Up to the Best New Night Club in NY!!

After stalking Carnival at Bowlmor Lanes since it was a little blip on the blog radar I have been higly anticipating my debut expereience last Saturday.  And let me tell you, it was everything and more!  After walking up a seedy several flights of stairs you are transported to the classiest carnival experience NY has ever seen.  You stand benethe a yellow and orange big top tent lined with your traditional boardwalk game including a dunk tank and some clever names for ‘Who Darted?’ and ‘Put a Ring on It.’  Prizes include giant stuffed animals even goldfish!  Our drink selection started with a Pink Elephant on Parade and a famous Blue Cotton Candy Martini before moving to the legendary Dunk Tank and then topping it off with some boozy snow cones!  Street  performers are everwhere even a risque balloon artist!  Music is your typical sing-a-long top ten but one of my favorite parts was the giant projection of ‘Seven Year Itch!’  Its impossible not to channel some of that childhood delight and giddy laughter while throwing back fruity drinks and taking pictures with jugglers.  As cited by a New York Times article, this is just what people need right now to lift spirits and enjoy a great night out with friends!

A New Carnival Comes to Town!

Who doesn’t love a good old fashioned carnival!  This time share alcoholic snow cones and cotton candy martinis with the freak show of magicians, stilt walkers and rumored dunk tank!  And speaking of dunk tank, drink menu features a $70 drink called, yes, the Dunk Tank, and it’ll consist of two gallons of vodka, rum, gin, and fruit juice.
